L01
The concept of L01 chair was born as a need to sit properly after the designer’s 11 months of sabbatical period living in a house without furniture.
This amplified the sensitivity to domestic space and dimension while raised the awareness of how a chair relates to or even sometimes dictate human body and mind.
The long pause also allows debate, doubt and discussion inside the mind and heart, which raised many questions about the place of human and design in this physical environment shared with other beings, earth.
With all these considerations, the designer moves very carefully from the conceptual stage to the realisation of the design which took eight years.
L01 chair is the inception of the whole collection but was born the last, a finale that delivers a perpetual journey of a curious mind.
