For L03 bench, the designer took the inspiration from the long bench comm0nlly used at the local street food vendors’ lively setting. The beauty of sharing and togetherness ignite the idea to create as simple looking, non-disruptive and elegant bench that aims to ignite more social interaction among people and encourage togetherness, allowing exchange of thoughts and knowledge to happen around the table.
As all the product in the collection, the simplicity of the design intends to highlight the beauty and unique characteristic of the conscious choice material: teak wood, which is durable, has good dimensional stability and contains natural oils that make it resistant to timber termites and pests. The oil makes it possible for to finish the products without varnish.
The use the traditional woodworking techniques combined with precision technology and tools aims to deliver a long lasting and furniture for contemporary living environment.
